Heaven continues eternally. Earth endures for a long time.

Heaven and earth continue and endure by not cultivating a self. And in doing so they cultivate continuum.

And so the sage falls behind yet finds himself ahead; ventures outside of his body yet preserves his body.

In acting without regard for himself, he ever satisfies himself.
